The North Bergen Health Department will be hosting its annual Summer Health Green Family Festival on June 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Recreation Center located at 6300 Meadowview Avenue, North Bergen NJ 07047. The goal of this event is to connect and serve our local community by providing awareness of the services that are available to assist them in their day to day lives.

LUTL Bike Ride is Approx. 17.5 miles Total Distance to JJ Braddock Park and back to Jersey City on the breathtaking Hudson County River Waterfront.

Start HC Urban Adventures to Check-in at Hudson County Landmarks along the way to earn points and win prizes!

Join us for a night of fun, music, and excitement as we Light Up the Loop. Don’t forget to decorate your bikes with dazzling bike lights. This is a one-of-a-kind event that you won’t want to miss!

Get your friends and family together and come experience the magic of Light Up the Loop. The event starts at 7:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.

Kids Bike Ride Scavenger Hunt

Join this scavenger hunt organized by the city of Jersey City and Bike JC!

ALL ABOARD! This year's Kids Bike Ride Scavenger Hunt is back to explore Jersey City's Historic Train Network!

Kids will get to travel our protected bike lanes and learn local history, all while collecting clues to win special prizes! Each station visited will result in a stamp on the train ticket. Each stamp will earn one raffle ticket for prizes. Participants may visit as many stations as they would like.

Don't want to go alone? BIKE JC has organized a group Bike Train! The following 3 Bike Trains will be offered:

  • Depart Berry Lane Park (Garfield Ave & Bramhall Ave) at 11:00am

  • Depart Journal Square (Southwest corner of Bergen Ave & Sip Ave) at 11:00am

  • Depart Gateway Park (along Merseles Street Grand Street) at 11:30am

Hudson County Complete Streets @hudcostreets and Bike North Bergen @bikenorthbergen will be tabling at the North Hudson Campus in Union City. We'll have swag to give away and you can learn about ongoing campaigns to make our streets in Hudson County safe for everyone!
